Stuart Munro studied architecture before turning to writing, focusing on art and contemporary culture from the perspective of Japan. He relocated from London to Tokyo more than a decade ago, occasionally curating exhibitions and writing for the likes of Wire Magazine, ArtReview, Mousse, and the World of Interiors, among others.
